Strategi Peningkatan Partisipasi dan Kepemimpinan Pemuda: Kajian Berdasar Indeks Pembangunan Pemuda Jawa Tengah
Abstract
This study examines strategies for improving youth participation and leadership based on the achievement of Domain 4 of the Youth Development Index in Central Java. The study is motivated by the low level of youth involvement in social activities, organizations, and deliberative forums, indicating that spaces for youth actualization have not been fully optimized. This research employs a conceptual approach using a descriptive-qualitative method based on document study. The data consist of national and Central Java Youth Development Index data, the Candradimuka Anom Project document from the Regional Board of Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah Central Java, and academic literature related to youth development. The findings show that the Candradimuka Anom Project has the potential to serve as a structured youth intervention model through several stages, including participant recruitment, online bootcamp, leadership camp, social project implementation, and alumni network strengthening. The program is not only intended to improve individual leadership capacity but also to expand social participation, organizational involvement, and youth confidence in expressing ideas in public forums. This study argues that improving the Youth Development Index requires more than an administrative approach; it calls for a sustainable, collaborative, and indicator-based program design. Therefore, the Candradimuka Anom Project can be positioned as a strategy for strengthening the youth ecosystem in Central Java, in line with the new Youth Development Index method and the broader youth development agenda toward Golden Indonesia 2045.
