Implementation of the Mount Badut Tourism Destination Development Policy in Improving Community Welfare
Abstract
The focus of the research carried out is on the implementation of the Mount Badut tourist destination development policy in improving the welfare of the community in Karangan Village, Badegan District. The development of the Mount Badut Karangan tourist destination is expected to have an economic impact on the community and also improve the quality of life of the community through various social and economic benefits. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, which allows for in-depth data collection through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. This study is located in Karangan Village, Badegan District, Ponorogo Regency, with the focus of this research being the implementation of Karangan Village Government policies in the Development Process of the Mount Badut Karangan tourist destination. This research also examines the evaluation of policies from the Karangan Village government in the development process at the Mount Badut tourist destination to improve community welfare and sustainable development. This research also examines supporting and inhibiting factors. Meanwhile, the research results show that community participation, Village Government support, and availability of resources are key factors in successful development. Apart from that, effective communication between stakeholders is also very important to ensure that the policy implementation process runs effectively in accordance with community expectations.
